Our Story
More than cards.Memories that last a lifetime.
I've loved sports for as long as I can remember.
Football, basketball, baseballāif there was a game on, I wanted to watch it. Growing up, attending professional sporting events wasn't always an option, but that never stopped me from feeling connected to the games and athletes I admired.
My childhood was filled with sports memorabilia. Autographs, Wheaties boxes, trading cards, and yes, even a NASCAR tire hanging on my bedroom wall. If it had something to do with sports, chances are I wanted to collect it.
But nothing ever compared to the excitement of opening a pack of sports cards.
There was something special about tearing open that wrapper, wondering who might be inside, and discovering a player you'd watched on television. Every pack was a little adventure. Every card had a story. And every collection held the possibility of becoming something bigger.

The connection
Years later, I've discovered something even better than collecting cards myself: sharing that experience with my kids.
Watching my children discover the hobby, seeing the excitement when they pull a favorite player, and realizing they're beginning to love something that has meant so much to meāthat's a feeling I can't put a price on.
Those moments are worth more than any card in my collection.
And they got me thinking.
Somewhere in closets, basements, and attics are countless childhood collections. Cards that were once someone's prized possessions, carefully traded, organized, and admired, eventually packed away and forgotten.
But what if we approached collecting differently?
The mission
What if we taught the next generation not just how to collect cards, but how to understand them, protect them, and appreciate what they're building?
A sports card can be a connection to a favorite athlete, a lesson in patience, a piece of history, or even something that grows significantly in value over time. More importantly, an entire collection can become a story that lasts for generations.
That's why we created Next Gen Ripz.
We're on a mission to bring families together through sports card collecting and introduce a new generation to everything this incredible hobby has to offer.
We're not here just to open packs and chase big hits. We want to teach young collectors how the hobby worksāfrom understanding different cards and identifying special pulls to protecting, organizing, and building collections they're proud of.
Through our videos, educational resources, and specially designed starter boxes, we're making it easier for parents and kids to discover the hobby together.
The legacy
Because someday, those kids will grow up.
And maybe they'll pull out their old collections, sit down with their own children, and share the same excitement they once felt opening that very first pack.
That's the kind of collection we want to help build.
Not just cards worth keeping.
Memories worth passing down.
Next Gen Ripz ā Collect. Rip. Repeat.
The next generation of collectors starts here.
